I love helping clients find the new home that is "just right", and I am pleased to bring strong intuitive negotiating skills to help them get it at the right price. But the relationship doesn't end there, by any means. Efficiently managing the process from lender pre-qualification through delivery of the keys to your new home, I am available to you at any time and you can feel secure in the knowledge that I am looking out for and ensuring that your best interests are always foremost.

How Much Home Can I Afford?
The first step in buying your new home is to speak with a good lender or mortgage broker. You may already have a good working relationship with someone, and if you'd like to shop around and find just the right person, I have provided a few that I highly recommend in my resources page.

The language lenders use is sometimes alien and confusing, so let's talk about what different lenders are offering you so that you can choose the best way to pay for your new home. Once you have gotten a pre-qualification or commitment letter from a lender, we can begin looking at homes with an eye to buying!

How Will We Find My New Home?
Once we have met and you have shared your needs, hopes, and dreams for a new home, we will begin the search. Initially, I'll have quite a few properties for you to review, consider, and give me feedback about. Then our search will become more focused, and we'll zero in on those homes that could be just right. Because I work the way you want to work, the time this process will take is entirely up to you. I have had clients want to buy one of the first houses we look at together, and I have had clients for whom we searched over a period of months. When you're ready to buy a new home, we will have fun and make this happen together!

Then What?
Then we determine the best strategy for making an offer, and we negotiate strategically for it. Once our offer is accepted, we'll enter the inspection and loan approval phase. When we meet, I can outline this process in greater detail so you know what to expect. It may seem a bit complicated, but that is why you've chosen to work with me - I manage the hardest parts of the process so you can worry about what color to paint the walls on moving day!
